Four new nuclear medicine centres will be set up in Pakistan keeping in view the increasing number of cancer patients. Prof Dr Saeeda Asghar, the newly appointed Director General of the Nuclear Medicine, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), says the centres would be set up in Bannu, Gilgit, Nawabshah and Gujranwala. She said that 13 medical centres were already working under the PAEC for treatment of cancer patients through nuclear medicine.
