The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has approved the relief distribution mechanism for the people of Afghanistan. The King's approval follows proposals made to him by Interior Minister Prince Naif Bin Abdul-aziz, who is also the General Supervisor of the Saudi Commission for Afghan Relief Assistance. These proposals relate to the Kingdom's contribution to the World Food Program (WFP) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Saudi Commission for Afghan Relief Assistance and WFP in which the entire distribution mechanism is shown. Prince Naif has issued his directives to expedite the implementation of the King's directives.
