The foreign ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states concluded here today their 99th session under the chairmanship of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayid Al Nahayan, Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and president of the current session of the GCC ministerial council. Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister headed the Kingdom's delegation to the session. In a press statement, the council expressed its appreciation and pride of achievements in various fields on the occasion of the GCC 25th anniversary of its foundation. The council supported the candidates of GCC states for the posts of director general and assistant director general of Arab Organization of Industrial and Mining Development and also supported Yemen's candidate for the post of assistant executive secretary of Economic and Social Committee for West Asia. With regard to negotiations between GCC states and other countries and International economic groups, the council expressed its satisfaction over the positive results achieved and looks forward to completing the negotiations as soon as possible.
