SHEIKH, EGYPT, MAY 31, SPA-- THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ AND EGYPT'S PRESIDENT MOHAMMED HOSNI MUBARAK HELD A SESSION OF TALKS HERE TODAY. AT THE OUTSET OF THE MEETING, THE EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT WELCOMED THE KING TO HIS SECOND COUNTRY, EGYPT. ON HIS PART, THE KING EXPRESSED HIS THANKS TO AND APPRECIATION OF THE PRESIDENT FOR A WARM WELCOME AND GENEROUS HOSPITALITY ACCORDED TO HIM AND THE ACCOMPANYING DELEGATION. DURING THE TALKS, THEY DISCUSSED THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AT THE ARAB, ISLAMIC AND INTERNATIONAL ARENAS TOPPED BY THE PALESTINIAN ISSUE AND THE SITUATION IN IRAQ. ASPECTS OF COOPERATION AND WAYS OF THEIR ENHANCEMENT IN ALL FIELDS WERE ALSO REVIEWED.
