Making his debut as member of the International Relations Committee, an affiliate of IOC, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd, Deputy President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and member of the IOC, took part in today's meeting of the committee in Lausanne, Switzerland. Addressing the meeting, he expressed happiness of joining the committee as it is shares the Saudi Olympic Committee its concern of many issues, citing the set up of a national committee for sports and environment in Saudi Arabia. He briefed the meeting on some of the Saudi Olympic Committee's achievements, citing last year's celebrations of the sports and physical educaiton world day and the habitual olympic running race in Saudi cities and towns over the last 12 years. --More
