Saudi Ambassador to Islamabad Ali Awadh Assiri has urged the business community of Pakistan to adequately benefit from the opportunities arising in Saudi Arabia for investment and trade. Addressing the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), the envoy emphasised the importance of translating into action the recent five agreements that were signed during the visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to Pakistan. The ambassador complimented the Pakistani leadership for its tangible efforts to provide better opportunities and jobs for both Saudis and Pakistanis alike. On his part, Chairman of ICCI Abdur Rauf admired the Saudi government for hugely contributing to relief and rehabilitation efforts of Pakistan in the earthquake-affected areas of Azad Kashmir and the North West Frontier Province. Abdur Rauf particularly mentioned the establishment of Saudi relief and rehabilitation office in Pakistan, especially for providing and monitoring Saudi assistance to quake hit areas.
