The 11th session of the Saudi-Jordanian economic commission began its deliberations here today under the co-chairmanship of Dr Hashim Yamani, the Saudi minister of commerce and industry and his Jordanian Counterpart Sharif Al-Zubi. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Yamanai underlined the important role being played by the commission in enhancing Saudi-Jordanian cooperation. He noted that the economic agreement, signed by the two countries in1962, embodied their keenness on further cementing their relations and cooperation. "We are working to boost trade exchange between the two countries through organizing trade exhibitions and increasing investment cooperation', he said. On his part, the Jordanian minister highlighted the big strides made in the field of trade exchange between the two countries. He underscored the importance of enhancing economic and commercial relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
