WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMAN SCOTT MCCLELLAN DECLINED TO GIVE DETAILS OF THE TELEPHONE CONVERSATION, BUT SAID: "THE TWO LEADERS STRESSED THE IMPORTANCE OF PREVENTING IRAN FROM OBTAINING NUCLEAR WEAPONS." HE SAID THEY AGREED TO REMAIN "IN CLOSE CONTACT ON THIS IMPORTANT PRIORITY."
