SPA – Foreign Minister of Netherlands Bernard R. Bot arrives in Islamabad on May 2 on a two-day visit to Pakistan, according to an official statement. He will be heading a 10-member delegation. He will meet Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and will hold bilateral consultations with his Pakistani counterpart Khurshid M. Kasuri. Bot will also meet Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Mushahid Hussain Syed. The Dutch Foreign Minister will also visit Peshawar and call on the Governor and the Chief Minister of the North West Frontier Province (NWFP). The visit will cover wide-ranging discussions with emphasis on further expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries. The statement said Pakistan-Netherlands relations have been steadily growing in diverse fields in the past several years, particularly after the visit to the Netherlands by President General Pervez Musharraf in September 2004.
