GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL SECRETARY GENERAL ABDULRAHMAN BIN HAMAD AL-ATIYYAH SEPARATELY RECEIVED AT HIS OFFICE HERE TODAY NEW ZEALAND AMBASSADOR TO THE KINGDOM JIM HOIL AND DIJIBOUTIAN AMBASSADOR TO THE KINGDOM DIA ALDIN BAMAKRAMAH. DURING THE MEETINGS, NEW ZEALAND AMBASSADOR DELLIVERED A LETTER FROM THE NEW ZEALANDAN TRADE MINISTER PHILIP GOFF. THE LETTER DEALT WITH THE PLAN OF NEW ZEALAND'S GOVERNMENT TO NEGOTIATE AN AGREEMENT REGARDING FREE TRADE ZONE BETWEEN GCC COUNTRIES AND NEW ZEALAND. THEY ALSO DISCUSSED THE ARRANGEMENTS OF THE UPCOMING VISIT OF GCC SECRETARY GENERAL TO NEW ZEALAND AS WELL AS ISSUES OF COMMON INTEREST. DURING THE MEETING WITH DIJIBOUTIAN AMBASSADOR, THE RESULTS OF GCC SECRETARY GENERAL'S VISIT TO DJIBOUTI LAST WEEK WHERE AL-ATIYYAH MET WITH DIJIBOUTI'S PRESIDENT ISMAIL OMAR GUELLEH , THE PRIME MINISTER AND OTHER OFFICIALS WERE DISCUSSED.
