Civil defense medical evacuation planes successfully airlifted two patients from a remote mountainous area to an urban hospital and rescued two laborers who were besieged by floods in a farm in central Bisha, it was reported today. Director of Civil Defense in Assir Region Major General Saad bin Saad Alharithi told the Saudi Press Agency that the civil defense authority received distress calls from two remote regions that two patients and two laborers need help. Immediately, an air evacuation plane was dispatched and successfully salvaged the patients from Al Alromi and Almahalah villages in Bisha Province to King Abdullah hospital in Bisha and snatched two stranded laborers from a flooded farm at Al Sofan village in central Bisha to a safe haven, Al-Harithi added.
