Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland inaugurated here today an Exhibition of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) Biography organized by London-based Islamic and Cultural Center. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Danish Ambassador to Britain Tom Jansen, members of diplomatic corps and officials of the center and Muslim community in Britain. In his inaugural speech, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, expressed his pleasure over inaugurating the five-day exhibition which stressed the keenness of Muslims in Britain to spread the the Prophet's Biography which is an example for all. Wrong stereotypes of Islam and Muslims and offenses to Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) through publication of malicious cartoons in some papers emphasized the importance that Muslims should stand together to preserve their tolerant values established by the Prophet, the Prince said and added that offenses to Islam and Muslims have had devastating effects on relations among various divine religions. He stressed that the only way to regain coexistence and eliminate these devastating effects should be pursued by displaying the real image of Islam and its tolerant teachings to all societies.
