DAYS EARLIER, THE REBELS PULLED OUT OF PEACE TALKS WITH THE GOVERNMENT, CITING ESCALATING ATTACKS ON CIVILIANS. WITH THE LATEST INCIDENTS, 62 PEOPLE HAVE BEEN KILLED IN VIOLENCE THIS MONTH _ 38 OF THEM SOLDIERS OR POLICE.
