The Deputy Chief of the international nuclear watchdog, lli Heinonen, is expected in Iran on Friday, an informed source in the Iranian nuclear negotiating team said. Speaking to "IRNA" news agency on condition of anonymity, he said that Heinonen, who is deputy of the International Atomic Energy Agency's Director-General Mohamed ElBaradei for safeguards issues, is scheduled to visit Iran within the context of the country's constructive cooperation with the IAEA. Heinonen will be accompanied by a number of senior IAEA inspectors, the source said, adding that the sides are expected to discuss remaining issues in Iran's nuclear program. He said inspectors will verify Iran's alleged enrichment of uranium up to 3.5 per cent.
