The third phase of Pakistan-India talks on the Wullar Barrage, being built in the Indian administered Kashmir, begins in Islamabad on Tuesday, officials said. Indian Water Resources Secretary J. Hari Narayan will lead his country's delegation in the two-day talks. Pakistan Water and Power Ministry Secretary Ishfaq Mahmood would head the Pakistani delegation. Legal advisors and design engineers of the two sides Indus River Treaty Commissioner and other officials would participate in the talks. Pakistan has objected to the construction of the Wuller Barrage saying that it would deprive Pakistan of its rightful river water.
