Prince Saud al-Faisal, the foreign minister, said he had exchanged views with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on ideas pertaining to the ministerial meeting on Iraq, due to be held in Cairo later today. The meeting includes representatives of the countries neighboring Iraq in addition to Egypt and Sudan. Prince Saud noted that President Mubarak had underlined the importance of a unified Arab stand to ease the sufferings of the Iraqi people. He pointed out that the meeting aims at helping the Iraqi people, and added 'Iraq is one of the founders of the Arab league'. Prince Saud said efforts are always exerted to extend support to the Palestinian people.
