Khaimah, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), April 11, SPA -- The three-day deliberations of the scientific symposium entitled " Modern Methods for Evaluating Police Performance in Dealing with Citizens" was opened here today under the patronage of Shiekh Saud bin Saqr Al-Qasimi, the Heir Apparent of Ra'as Al-Khaimah. The symposium began its proceedings in the presence of the President of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Abdulaziz bin Saqr Al-Ghamdi. Specialists from Arab ministries of interior and justice are participating in the symposium which is organized by the Naif Arab University in cooperation with Ra'as Al-Khaimah Police. Speaking on the occasion, Al-Ghamdi said that the symposium aims at raising the level of police performance through the application of modern criteria in evaluating it, planning, training and improving cooperation between security authorities and citizens to spread the concept that security is the responsibility of all.
