ONE PERSON WAS KILLED AND SIX INJURED IN TWO BOMB ATTACKS IN TURKEY FRIDAY, ACCORDING TO REUTERS. ONE PERSON WAS KILLED AND THREE OTHERS INJURED IN A BLAST IN A MOSQUE IN THE TURKISH CITY OF ORDU ON THE BLACK SEA COAST. THE DEAD PERSON IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN A FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBER, TURKISH MEDIA REPORTED. THE BLAST OCCURRED IN THE TOILET OF A KORAN SCHOOL FOR GIRLS. POLICE FOUND ANOTHER BOMB IN THE GARDEN WHICH HAD NOT DETONATED. IN ANOTHER BLAST IN THE SOUTHERN TURKISH CITY OF DIYARBAKIR, THREE PEOPLE WERE INJURED, INCLUDING AN 11-YEAR-OLD BOY, TELEVISION REPORTS SAID. THE DETONATION, WHICH WAS PROBABLY CAUSED BY A BOMB ACCORDING TO THE REPORTS, DAMAGED A MUNICIPAL VEHICLE. POLICE SAID THE BLAST OCCURRED IN THE CENTRAL LANE OF THE ROAD EXACTLY AT THE MOMENT WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PASSING, INJURING BOTH PASSENGERS. THE INJURED BOY WAS COINCIDENTALLY WALKING BY WHEN THE EXPLOSION OCCURRED. THE IDENTITY OF THE ATTACKERS REMAINED UNCLEAR.
