A SPEECH CEREMONY WAS HELD ON THIS OCCASION. ADDRESSING THE ATTENDANCE, CROWN PRINCE SULTAN CONVEYED TO THEM THE GREETINGS OF THE KINGDOM'S GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE, RECALLING HIS FIRST VISIT TO JAPAN IN 1960. HE NOTED THAT THE TWO COUNTRIES HAVE RECENTLY CELEBRATED THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF ESTABLISHING DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THEM.
