UAE- SUDAN SECURITY MOU SIGNED

THE INTERIOR MINISTER OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, LT. GENERAL SHEIKH SAIF BIN ZAYED AL NAHAYAN AND SUDANESE INTERIOR MINISTER AL-ZUBAIR BASHEER TAHER SIGNED IN ABU DHABI YESTERDAY A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) ON SECURITY COORDINATION AND COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
THE UAE NEWS AGENCY 'WAM' SAID THE TWO COUNTRIES, UNDER THE MOU, WILL FORGE COOPERATION IN SPHERES OF FIGHTING TERRORISM AND ORGANIZED CRIME, DRUGS TRADE, PROTECTING FACILITIES, CIVIL DEFENSE, SECURITY INFORMATION AND MEDIA, POLICE EDUCATION AND TRAINING AND CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION AND EVIDENCE.
