PRINCE SAUD ALFAISAL, THE SAUDI FOREIGN MINISTER WHO LED HIS COUNTRY'S DELEGATION TO THE 18TH ARAB SUMMIT, LEFT HERE TODAY FOLLOWING THE END OF THE OFFICIAL DELIBERATIONS AND APPROVAL OF THE SUMMIT'S RESOLUTIONS. IN REMARKS BEFORE HIS DEPARTURE, PRINCE SAUD ALFAISAL EXPRESSED SATISFACTION OVER THE OUTCOME OF THE SUMMIT, INCLUDING THE POLITICAL POSITIONS AND THE STEPS TAKEN TO ENHANCE THE ARAB JOINT ACTION. HE EXPRESSED APPRECIATION OF THE ROLE PLAYED BY SUDAN LEADERSHIP FOR REACHING POSITIVE DECISIONS DURING THE SUMMIT. THE FINAL SESSION OF THE SUMMIT, PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY EVENING WAS EXTENDED TO WEDNESDAY MORNING. ACCORDINGLY, PRINCE SAUD ALFAISAL WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND TODAY'S SESSION DUE TO PREVIOUS ENGAGEMENTS BACK HOME.
