Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee wins prize

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, won the General Excellence Shield from the Sports Federation of Islamic Solidarity on the occasion of the distinguished success realized by Saudi Arabia in organizing the Islamic Solidarity Games Tournament held last year in Saudi Arabia in addition to Saudi national teams' winning of the first place in the tournament.
Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, President of Youth Welfare and Head of the Sports Federation of Islamic Solidarity, handed today the prize to Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of Youth Welfare and Deputy Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee.
The prize's delivery took place during the opening session of a meeting by the Sports Federation of Islamic Solidarity held here today and presided over by Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, head of the Sports Federation of Islamic Solidarity.
