The Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has strongly condemned the storming of Ariha (Jericho) prison by Israeli troops. In a statement on the event, the GCC described the storming operation as imposition of the status-co policy at the expense of the unarmed Palestinian people. The GCC demanded the world community to show a clear stance pressuring Israel to halt its brutal hostilities against the unarmed Palestinian people.
