Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz has highlighted the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in spreading knowledge and science. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition of 'One Thousand inventions and an Invention' at the museum of sciences and industry here on Tuesday, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf said the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz invited Muslim intellectuals and scientists to hold meeting in Makkah three months ago. He noted that the King had highlighted the achievements attained by the Muslim scientists and the contribution of the Islamic civilization to the human civilization in the domains of science and knowledge. 'Addressing the Muslim scientists, King Abdullah urged the Muslim youth to follow the example of the ancient Muslim scientists and to positively contribute to the development of the world', he noted.
