The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for information affairs Dr Abdullah al-Jasser stressed that the Ministry has been exerting all efforts to implement author's intellectual property rights. In a press statement here today following inauguration of a seminar titled "Laws of the Intellectual Property and their Impact on the Industry and Economy under the Umbrella of Globalization'', he noted the issuance of a royal decree on the new regulation of author's rights. Dr. Al-Jasser affirmed that the Ministry will re-draft the executive bill of author's rights regulation and will be assisted in this regard by a group of experts and specialists for redrafting the bill which interprets the articles of the regulation. He indicated that the Ministry's system does not differentiate between local and foreign classifications.
