Dhabi, Feb 22, SPA -- Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy President of Youth Welfare of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today briefed the press on the outcome of GCC ministers in charge of sports and youth held today in Abu-Dhabi. He said he conveyed the greetings of the Saudi leadership to the United Arab Emirates leadership, wishing the people of the UAE steady progress and prosperity. Prince Nawaf also said he conveyed an invitation from Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, President of Youth Welfare, addressed to GCC ministers of youth and sports to attend the GCC youth and sports council meeting in Saudi Arabia. On the outcome of today's meeting, he said the executive framework for the meeting of officials in charge of youth hostels, the meeting of Adventure and Challenge for GCC youth, the Cultural Forum for youth and the Intellectual and Scientific forums for youth scientific clubs and centers were approved. The GCC will introduce the GCC Youth Day to mark the anniversary of the set up of the GCC in May every year, Prince Nawaf said, adding that each member country would contribute SR50,000 to the budget of the Youth Care Strategy Committee. He said selected GCC youth leaders will be honored every five years. A documentary film on "Sports for All" will be produced by the GCC concerned authority, he concluded.
