Ten U.S. troops died in the crash of two transport helicopters off northern Djibouti's coast during a training mission. Two CH-53E choppers were carrying a dozen crew and troops when they went down Friday in the Gulf of Aden, near the coastal town of Ras Siyyan. The troops were members of a counterterrorism force headquartered in the Horn of Africa nation, U.S. military officials said in a statement Sunday, circulated today by the Associated Press. Two crew members who were rescued were taken in stable condition to the U.S. military's Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
