Saudi Aramco Awards Daewoo Tanker Deal

Saudi Aramco said yesterday it has awarded South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. a contract for the construction of six large oil tankers.
The first of the six vessels, which will have a capacity of 218,000 tons each, would be delivered in the first quarter of 2008, the firm said in a press release.
