A roadside bomb killed six Afghan policemen and wounded five colleagues on Sunday in the southern province of Kandahar, a provincial official said. The bomb went off along a road to the north of Kandahar city as the policemen were passing in a vehicle, said senior provincial official Mohammad Nabi, according to a report of Reuters. "It was a bomb. It killed six policemen and wounded five," Nabi said, adding that Taliban insurgents were responsible.
