Delegations from Chad and the World Bank ended three days of talks Wednesday aimed at resolving a dispute over oil revenues, apparently failing to reach a solution but agreeing to a new round of discussions, AP reported. The two delegations were to restart consultations after giving home officials a status report on the talks, a World Bank statement said. It called the discussions, which began Monday, «constructive» and said that both parties agreed to continue consultations. The statement provided no date for a new round. The dispute on the use of oil revenues led to suspension of millions of dollars (euros) in World Bank loans to the Central African country. The World Bank says that Chad breached a 1999 agreement _ the first of its kind _ to obtain World Bank financing for the Chad-Cameroon Oil Pipeline Project after the country passed legislation in December making major changes to the accord.
