Mahmoud Abbas Holds Talks with Al-Bakheet

Palestinian and Jordanian official sources reported that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas held talks here yesterday with Jordanian Prime Minister Maruf Al-Bakhit.
Abbas briefed Al-Bakhit on the results of the Palestinian legislative elections which were won by Hamas and the consequences of that at all levels.
Also, they discussed ways of pushing peace process forward and a number of issues of mutual interest.
It is scheduled that Abbas would meet Jordanian King Abdallah II before leaving for Cairo where Abbas will meet Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak.
