Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Interior Minister, arrived here on Sunday evening to participate in the 23rd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, due to be inaugurated in the Tunisian capital later today. He was welcomed at Tunis international airport by his Tunisian counterpart Rafiq Belhaj and a number of senior officials. Prince Naif is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation including Under Secretary of the Interior Ministry Dr Ahmad al-Salem. The Arab Interior Ministers are scheduled to review a number of topics including a report on the activities of the general secretariat of the Council of the Arab Interior Ministers. In a press statement, Prince Naif said the meeting of the Arab Interior Ministers comes at a time when the Arabs are passing through critical circumstances. He pointed out that a great attention would be given to security issues. He noted that the issue of terrorism and means of its combating would be one of the most important topics at the meeting.
