Two teenagers were remanded in custody on Friday over the murder of a London lawyer who was stabbed to death last week in a vicious street attack, according to Reuters. Donnel Marcus Carty, 18, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons appeared before West London Magistrates Court charged with the murder and robbery of Tom ap Rhys Pryce. The teenagers also face charges of robbing another man shortly before Rhys Pryce was attacked. They were remanded in custody and ordered to appear at the Old Bailey on Feb. 3. Rhys Pryce was killed as he walked home late at night, despite handing over his few items of value during a robbery. The 31-year-old Cambridge University graduate, who was due to be married later this year after getting engaged last October, was attacked on the road where he lived shortly after leaving Kensal Green underground station in northwest London. Witnesses heard him telling his attackers that he had given them everything he had. Detectives have appealed for anyone at Kensal Green station at the time to come forward. On Monday they released CCTV footage of the robbery and of Rhys Pryce, who worked for law firm Linklaters, leaving the station. A third youth was bailed by police pending further inquiries. --SP 23 57 Local Time 20 57 GMT
