Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Almane said that as a result of the intense stampede among pilgrims at the entrance of the Jamarat bridge in Mina at noon today, 345 pilgrims died until now and 289 pilgrims were injured; most of their injuries are light. In a press statement today, he said a large number of them were discharged after they received emergency aid. Another large number of the injured were treated at the site of the incident by the medical team available there.
