The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that Hajj for this year has been safe and free from epidemic and quarantine diseases, stating that pilgrims' health condition has been generally good and satisfactory. In a statement issued here today, the Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manei said that after reviewing reports relating to health conditions of pilgrims, citizens and expatriates in the holy places, Makkah and Madinah, I express my pleasure to announce Hajj safety for this year. Thanks to the directives and continual follow-up of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince for the achievement of these good results, the Minister said. Dr. Al-Manei praised fruitful and constructive cooperation of all sectors effectively contributing to enabling health officials and personnel to implement Hajj health plan for the service of pilgrims.
