As many as 327,041 pilgrims of Arab countries have completed their Hajj rituals, the fifth pillar of Islam, for this year's Hajj season. In a statement here today, Dr. Talal bin Fuad Hamdi, Chairman of Board of Directors of National Establishment of Guide Pilgrims of Arab Countries pointed out that Arab pilgrims were distributed to 108 field service groups and were accommodated in 1697 buildings and hotels in Makkah, the majority of them near the Grand Mosque. He noted that King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah received 197,914 Arab pilgrims supervised by the Establishment; Prince Mohammed Airport in Madinah, 46,472 pilgrims; Jeddah Islamic Seaport, 21,400 pilgrims and the remaining number arrived at various entry posts in the Kingdom. Dr. Hamdi indicated that the Establishment is currently implementing a plan to send Arab pilgrims back to their homelands after their completion of Hajj rituals easily and comfortably.
