Large groups of pilgrims proceeded to the holy site of Arafat on Monday morning. Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the movements of pilgrims from Mina to Arafat have been carried out easily, thanks to the great capabilities and distinguished arrangements provided for them by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince. All governmental bodies relating to Hajj affairs have been extending best services to pilgrims who come to the holy sites to perform Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam. Foodstuffs and water have largely exceeded the basic necessities of pilgrims. SPA reporters watched security men, traffic police, civil defense, national guard, scouts and other governmental bodies providing services, guidelines and assistance for pilgrims. Helicopters have been monitoring pilgrims' movements to Arafat to streamline traffic. Pilgrims will combine Dhuhr (noon) and Asr (afternoon) prayers at Namirah Mosque on Arafat in pursuit of the Prophet's Sunnah (Tradition).
