Greece was working towards defusing a Russian- Ukrainian dispute on gas, Foreign Minister Petros Molyviatis said Monday after talks with the Russian and Ukrainian ambassadors, DPA reported. Greek Development Minister Dimitris Sioufas said Russia's decision to cut off gas deliveries to Ukraine would not lead to any price increases in the Greek market. He said the government would continue a procedure of signing liquified natural gas supply contracts with Algeria - Greece's other main supplier - and had ordered higher quantities of liquefied natural gas from Algeria for storage at the Revythousa offshore facility as a precuationary measure.
