The number of pilgrims coming from abroad to perform Hajj in Makkah this year reached 1,180,647 pilgrims until yesterday, it was reported today. The Director General of Passports Department Major General Salim bin Mohammed Al-Bilaihed told the Saudi Press Agency that 1,021,171 came by air, 17,457 by sea and 70,019 by land.
