At least 10 people were killed in a bombing and shootings in Iraq Tuesday, security forces reported, according to DPA. A home-made road side bomb killed two policemen and injured three more when their patrol was passing in Mahweel, south of Baghdad, a police source said. In a separate incident, gunmen attacked a poultry farm killing four Iraqi workers in Asriya village, 60 kilometres south of the capital, police said. The attackers set the farm on fire in the belief that profits from it were being used by the Iraqi police and army, police said. Unknown gunmen killed four people in attacks on two houses in Jbala, 65 kilometres south of Baghdad. Police said the motive for the attack was not immediately known.
