King Abdullah chairs Cabinet session

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz chaired the cabinet's weekly session at Al-Yamamah
palace in Riyadh on Monday.
At the outset of the session, the King expressed his great appreciation of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayid Al Nahayan, President of the United Arab
Emirates and Chairman of the current session of the Supreme Council of Arab Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) states for his clarity, seriousness and
truthfulness, the traits which characterized the Gulf Summit held in Abu Dhabi last week. The Monarch emphasized the importance of joint Gulf action
and cooperation among GCC member states for the protection of the region, enhancement of its cohesion, support for the economic and political weight
of these states, and for enabling them to promote their influential status at the international arena.
