A fatal car accident in a tunnel in the southern German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg Sunday left five people dead and four injured, dpa reported. Police said a vehicle with five passengers hit the tunnel wall near the entrance before ploughing into an oncoming vehicle and then slamming again into the wall. The car then burst into flames. All five passengers, aged between 18 and 23 years, died in the tunnel accident near the town of Eriskirch. Police have not established a reason for the accident. Four passengers in the oncoming car, who were travelling to Austria for a skiing trip, were injured. After being treated in hospital, the injured were allowed to leave.
