The Council of the American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has deplored a program launched by U.S. authorities to monitor nuclear radiations near a number of mosques and Islamic sites in Washington. 'US News and World Report' Magazine recently published an article on its internet website claiming that the American authorities had monitored the level of radiation near more than 100 mosques in Washington and five other American cities, but no nuclear radiation was detected. The Council condemned this measure and described it as a form of discrimination against the American Muslims, according to a statement issued here yesterday by CAIR
