japan)s central bank voted friday to not alter its ultra-loose monetary policy amid speculation it ,may shift policy in, the first half of next year. dpa reported. the bank of japan)s (boj) decision comes amid signs that the economy is on a steady recovery and is emerging from seven years of deflation. the boj voted 7-2 to continue supplying the country)s banks with high liquid reserves. some analysts expect that the central bank will end its 'quantitative easing' policy by spring 2006. the government is against an early end to the ultra-loose policy, but does want other factors to be considered in determining the end to deflation. the boj uses just the consumer price index as its benchmark for the monetary policy --spa
