Yamani attends OIC consultative meeting in Hong Kong

Ministers of Commerce of the member states of the Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) held a consultative meeting here tonight to prepare for the 6th ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization scheduled to start here tomorrow.
Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali, the President of the Islamic Bank, congratulated the Kingdom on joining the WTO.
To coordinate their positions in the WTO deliberations, the meeting turned into a closed-door session.
