Leaders of member states of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) began here today their third extraordinary Summit.
The convening of the Summit comes in response to the call earlier made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
At Al-Safa Palace, where the Summit is convened, the Muslim leaders were welcomed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General.
Then, King Abdullah announced the inauguration of the Summit.
