Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas condemned Monday's blast in an Israeli mall and ordered the arrest of those involved, his office said in a statement. "This operation ... against civilians causes the most serious harm to our committment to the peace process and the Palestinian Authority will not go easy on whoever is found to be responsible for this operation," the statement quoted him as saying. Four shoppers and the bomber were killed in the attack in the northern town of Netanya. There were conflicting claims of responsibility. In a telephone call to The Associated Press, the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, said it sent the bomber. However, in an announcement over mosque loudspeakers in the West Bank, the Islamic Jihad group said it carried out the attack.
