Saudi Cultural Attaché in Germany Ahmad bin Abbas Ashi will receives on Sunday the first group of Saudi students on scholarships to study in various engineering majors in the German Universities , in the framework of the treaty signed by Saudi Higher Education Ministry and The German Authority for Scientific Exchange. Ashi said that the Saudi Attaché will provide all necessary help to the group's 50 students in cooperation with the German Authority on their arrival, adding that the students will be split up into three batches to study German language in three German cities. He added that the students will study the language for six months, then they will take the preparatory year before joining the universities to study in the different engineering majors. He pointed out to the great efforts made by the Saudi Ambassador to Germany, Osama bin Abdulmajeed Shobokshi to strengthen the academic relations between the two countries. It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Bonn is in charge of helping Saudi students in Germany , Poland , the Netherlands , Sweden , Norway , Finland, and Luxemburg.
