Kuwait's Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Abdullah Alma'atooq opened here today the 9th session of the Executive Council meeting of the Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the OIC member states. Deputizing Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Alahmed Alsabah, the Kuwaiti minister underscored the importance of the conference which is convened at a critical time that witnesses great challenges before the Islamic nation. This necessitates that we have to unite ranks and stand unabated to overcome the obstacles facing our nation and religion, he said. Sheikh Salih bin Abdulaziz Al Alsheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, led the Saudi delegation to the meeting.
