Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali Al-Naimi met here on Sunday evening with Mexican Secretary of Energy Fernando Canales Clariond. They reviewed issues pertaining to the current situation at the international oil market as well as aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Mexico in the petroleum sphere. In a statement to The Saudi Press Agency after the meeting, Al-Naimi said "Mexico, which is one of the important oil producing and exporting countries, enjoys close cooperation with the Kingdom in the field of petroleum." The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
